The Changing Faces Of...

I'd like to say: "Goddammit, pick a look and stick with it!" but it would completely ruin this thread.

Anyway, here we can take a look (and mock if you so wish) the changing styles of some of our favourite/not so favourite bands and discuss what our opinions are of them.

Anyway, here's some examples of what I mean:

30 Seconds To Mars

This is the band in the early days (they formed in 1998, so I'm guessing it's around that time).

About three years ago and by far the worst style they've had.

About two, maybe three years ago, I'm not sure.

This was last year I think, at the Kerrang! awards.

Here they are recently.

And here's some classic changes from Jared Leto (30 Seconds To Mars singer/bad actor ):

Around the time of their first single off their second album being released - 2005

During the video for The Kill, second single off A beautiful Lie - 2006

About a year ago.

How is it possible to change that much? I mean, for a start, why? What's the point?
Whenever I see this, I wonder whether they are just doing it because they want to be performers all the time.

Haha i was just gonna mention Lost Prophets actually, my best mate had a few beers with them once and liked there music before they hit it big as they were so i was aware of the band from the early days but i look at them now and think - hang on, not one of them looked like that back in the days, what the hell is this?

I know! I can't understand why they've changed their image so much. And your mate's lucky. I'd love to meet them.
Even though their music isn't as heavy as it was, I'm still a fan. But I do have issues with their styles now.
